Historically, trans people in India weren’t seen as immoral, but colonization brought a lot of discrimination and marginalization. Sadly, there’s still a stigma around trans individuals, and many end up having to support themselves through sex work or begging.
This project aims to change that by helping participants live independently and earn a fair income. We offer various training programs linked to government initiatives and financial institutions to promote self-employment or help find suitable jobs. Participants can receive vocational training in areas like agribusiness, fashion, interior design, and driving, with the goal of landing jobs in these fields.
